In Exodus 2, the focus shifts from the Hebrew people as a whole to one specific person, Moses. In an amazing turn of events, God preserved the life of this Hebrew boy and sent him to be a part of Pharaoh’s household. Moses, who was drawn out of the Nile, would be God’s chosen instrument to draw the children of Israel out of bondage.
