Ken Boa introduces this session with a discussion of various matters, including the concepts of living, transitioning, and finishing well. He then transitions into the focus text of Genesis 43 (beginning at 10:40 or so). The inscrutable mercy and sovereignty of God are on full display in this continuation of the story of Joseph and his brothers. God had done something extraordinary with Joseph (Genesis in 41–42): despite the evil that Joseph’s brothers intended, God elevated Joseph to a position in Egypt second only to Pharaoh. However, the dreams that precipitated this remarkable journey had not yet been fulfilled.

This session is part 43 of the 365 Key Chapters of the Bible series, based on Ken’s Handbook to Scripture.
