[lead]Many of us don’t share our faith out of fear.[/lead] We’re afraid we’ll say the wrong thing and offend the person. Afraid that what we say will be rejected. Afraid we won’t know the answer.

At a seminar by Bill Fay on “Sharing Jesus without Fear,” he offered some simple, safe questions to ask a person with whom you’d like to start a spiritual discussion. 1. Do you have any kind of spiritual belief?
2. To you, who is Jesus?
3. When you die, where are you going? (If the person says “heaven,” a good follow-up question is, “Why would God let you in?”)
4. If what you believe is not true, do you want to know it?
5. What is the most important value you would like to teach your children?

Success is not leading someone to Christ. Success is acting out your Christian life, sharing the Gospel, and trusting God for the results.

In addition, here are some good Scriptures to take people to, to help them see what God’s Word says about Jesus, people, life, and salvation. After you read the verse(s) aloud, a good question to ask is simply, “What does this passage say to you?”
