In the Great Commission Jesus commands us, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you” (Matthew 28:19–20 NASB). But this leaves us with a question: How are we to do this?

The book of Acts continues the narrative and answers our question. It begins where the Gospels left off. The Holy Spirit would come down on the disciples and enable them (and us!) for ministry. It is because of the Holy Spirit that the gospel began to spread and people began to be won over to belief in Jesus.

This session is part 74 of the 365 Key Chapters of the Bible series, based on Ken’s Handbook to Scripture.
