The parent/child relationship is a key area in which we honor Christ by both applying His principles and teaching them to others. The home is a laboratory of growth and learning, a training ground for life. Parents are entrusted with kids for a time, rearing them from complete dependence to independence, always recognizing them as being God’s and not our own possessions.
