In order to love yourself correctly, you must see yourself as God sees you. In Christ, you are unconditionally loved and forgiven. You are a coheir with Christ and a child of God. It can be difficult, but you must believe these truths in spite of whatever it is you feel or whatever your circumstances are. While our feelings and circumstances are in a continual state of flux, the truths of God remain forever and are always dependable. The amount of satisfaction and significance you find in Christ will be proportionate to the degree to which you allow God to define you.
