In an open Q&A and discussion session on Sunday morning, October 14, 2018, Ken Boa teaches on Philippians 2:15–16 for a significant portion of the class. He outlines this passage using four C’s: character, culture, calling, and the coming of Christ. Followers of Christ are to have a compelling character (“blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach”), in the context of our culture (“a crooked and perverse generation”), with a clear calling (as agents of the King, we’re stewards and ambassadors; we “appear as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life,” which is timeless and powerful), as we anticipate the second coming of Christ. At the end of the teaching, he addresses a question on the issue of rewards.
