Ken Boa emphasizes the necessity of detaching from the temporal and desiring the eternal. Responding to the prompting of God’s grace moves us in the direction of purity of heart. The undivided heart loves in all things God’s will rather than the things themselves. This purity of communion with God is the fruit of the grace of God and decades of stumbling pursuit.
