He reflects on the brevity of life and the need for an awareness of our mortality, quoting the words of A.W. Tozer from The Knowledge of the Holy: “The days of the years of our lives are few and swifter than a weaver’s shuttle.” Ken also emphasizes the fact that God gives us exactly the amount of time we need to accomplish His (not our own) purposes, whether it’s 70 years or only seven or even fewer.
