This lesson moves from a focus on discipleship to a focus on evangelism, the former being the goal of the latter.
The spectrum of the spiritual life ranges from those who are unwilling to consider the gospel to those who are reproducing disciples. The mistake believers often make is assuming that going from one spectrum to the other is an overnight process. However, as Ken Boa teaches in this lesson, there are stages along the way. The significance of evangelism is that it takes those who are spiritually dead and brings them to the point where they can be discipled.
This is the 11th part of Ken’s “Nurturing Spirituality” study, based on content in chapter 32 of his book Conformed to His Image.
