Evangelism is a process. The Bible shows us this through the use of agricultural imagery. There are at least four stages to evangelism: (1) Preparing the soil, (2) Sowing the seed, (3) Cultivating the soil, and (4) Reaping the harvest. It is important to remember that ultimately the results belong to God. We are simply called to be faithful to the process. In the end, God is the one who gives the growth.
