God has given each of us spiritual gifts that we should use to edify the church. Although we may envy someone else for their gifts, God intends for there to be a beautiful diversity among our gifts. We will not have every spiritual gift listed or implied in the Bible. Rather, our gifts will complement the gifts of other people in the body of Christ. As a result, this means that whatever our position is in the church, we are able to use our gifts for the glory of God.
