Have you ever noticed how God calls people that we would never choose to save? Saul is one such man, a fervent anti-Christian rabbi. He was one of the most determined persecutors of Christians. He was the one who stood by approvingly as Stephen was stoned to death. But that was not enough for him. Like many others, he wanted to root out this blasphemy about Jesus. With the permission of the high priest, he set out for Damascus to find Christians and throw them in prison. It was on this road to Damascus that Jesus would meet him and change his life forever.
